Shipping Policy
We ship across India from Surat. Everything here is handled by email, so there is a written record of what was agreed on sizing.
How the timings work
Handling is 1-2 business days — from a confirmed order to the parcel leaving us. Transit is on top: 2-4 business days to a metro address and 4-8 business days elsewhere. Added together that gives 3-6 business days to a metro address and 5-10 business days elsewhere, which is the figure quoted everywhere on this site. Working days exclude Sundays and public holidays.
Packing
Fabric goods travel in a sealed mailer; ceramic and glass bowls travel boxed with the contents separated. A ceramic bowl is the item most likely to arrive chipped, so check it before the packing goes in the bin.
On delivery day
- Look at the carton before you sign. If it is crushed, soaked or rattling, refuse it and tell us.
- Photograph the carton and the item if anything is wrong, before the packing goes in the bin.
- Report damage within 48 hours of delivery to care@jjpetshop.shop. We replace or refund.
Check the size and the adjustment range against your measurement before letting an animal wear anything. A harness that has been worn outdoors cannot be returned, and a chewed strap is not a manufacturing fault.
Tax
JJ Pet Shop is a small online retailer and is not registered for GST: turnover stays below the applicable registration threshold in India, so registration has not become compulsory. GST is therefore not charged separately on any order, and no GST tax invoice carrying a registration number can be issued. The figure printed beside an item is the whole amount payable.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM IST are picked up the next working day. We do not dispatch on days the shop is closed or on public holidays, and delivery windows are estimates rather than guaranteed dates.
